Joshua Cornutt, Founder and CEO
Open Edge Cloud was founded in 2024 by Joshua Cornutt, who spent two decades building and running cloud infrastructure for organizations with the highest standards for security, compliance, and uptime.
As CTO of ORock Technologies, Joshua was the principal engineer and architect of the company’s cloud platform before going on to lead the organization that ran it. He built the infrastructure first, then built the team around it. That platform met FedRAMP Moderate and FedRAMP High standards, with Department of Defense reciprocity at Impact Levels 2 and 4, and held a 99.99% uptime commitment under continuous federal compliance obligations. It later supported the US Army’s DRUID program, a secure DevSecOps pipeline delivering defensive cyber capabilities, which Joshua helped build and support.
He has also worked the business side of technology, leading the technical diligence behind a major institutional raise and owning the partnerships that grew the company. Open Edge Cloud brings that same discipline, judgment, and operational maturity to mid-market companies that want enterprise-grade cloud without enterprise complexity.
